Good news. There is no need for High Speed trains at present in India.
If they can show in interest in work, ask them to cut slack for many trains, regulate traffic properly and attain an avg speed of 65kmph for SF's

What China can afford India can't...the sooner govt understands the better for the country..In China most of the bullet trains are WE..here even the govt can't afford to run a slowest passenger if it doesn't fetches profit..

Disappointing. However, this was expected and soon this will be case for all such "semi-high speed" tracks I guess. Whatever happened to the Gatimaan Express?? Forget 200 kph, can they atleast increase the MPS to 120-130 kph in this route? That might be possible with enough banking and strengthening of track... If the government can't do it, they shouldn't give useless promises to people. This govt is getting to be just like the previous ones. Bullet train it seems. We are doomed to be stuck traveling in 50 kph trains for all time :(
