A loss for the railways has been a huge gain for private bus operators. A new train leaving Bengaluru Cantonment station to Thiruvananthapuram Kochuveli was announced...
Finally good to see, a prominent english newspaper highlighting the issue.
But the biggest joke seems to be the fact that SWR is now mulling a new train from Mysuru to Thiruvananthapuram via Bengaluru on Thursdays, when there are already 6 other trains !!!!
In the print edition though the SWR public relations manager has been quoted as saying that ' On the advice of the railway board details of a biweekly service are being worked out between the divisions concerned '
