Is this just a stupid headline or a prediction? First route announced about 5 years back is at least 5 years away from reality. Now 7! News providers may never provide their estimate about "soon".
This is nothing more than a wish list.
Current Rail infra is poor in Karnataka, doubling, electrification or new line construction are so slow that they themselves will take 5 yrs or more. This bullet train will not materialize in next 10 yrs

Considering present situation, We can see Bullet trains running at these routes after between 10-15 years.
It will take around 1 years foe route finalized. After that DPR and other details will take around 3 years.
It can be manifesto of central government in 2024 elections and construction will start just before 2029 elections.
