* HWH-DHN ACDD was a total failure and extension to Parasnath is not going to make any significant difference.
* Idle ACDD rake of probably 8-10 coaches is definitely a matter of concern for ER. Since width of this rake is more than normal ACDD rakes, it is difficult to use it on other routes. these coaches can be better used in Coalfield Exp & Black diamond express trains & other short distance trains of the route, but these trains too do not have many ACC paxs.

more... coach is to attach them as non-flexifare coaches to Shatabdi trains operating with high patronage or to other intercity trains.
* When IR is ushering into a new era where there are plans to charge higher for window seats and give discount for relatively uncomfortable side berths, the fare of ACDD chaircar has to be kept lower by 15-25% than the much more comfortable normal ACC. Else the overpriced ACDD coach shall continue to be a non starter. First ACDD (HWH-DHN) was introduced more than 7 years back in Oct 2010 and even today we have only 2 or 3 successful DDs operating in IR network.
