This is a problem with bad manufacturing standards by ICF. Off late, there are increasing problems with the quality of their manufacturing, with increasing spring breakages and other issues. A serious audit needs to be done to start solving this problem.

Unfortunately, this is not a maintenance issue. It is a manufacturing issue that is causing frequent failures.
SWR is among one of the zones that does a good job with coach and rake maintenance. Their complaints need to be taken seriously.
With increasing conversion of ICF rakes to LHB, ICF seems to be cutting corners to deliver coaches faster.

Yes ....agree on this . Focus seems to be to achieve more output in lesser time with the result that quality takes a beating. Below is the link of the article which had come in December regarding record coach production in ICF.
