So with this move the quota of the originating station will decrease.
I think the railways should have implemented for ONLY those Durontos whose patronisation was less . While the revenues will definitely increase and passengers will have more options, it will also lead to more waitlist passengers now boarding these trains and making them no different from other trains.

Sabka saath sabka vikas... it means that the meaning of Duronto Trains should be changed from dedicated service for end-to-end passengers to superfast service for many more passengers... the "Duronto" Concept has been diluted. Don't feel surprised if LHB Sleeper Coaches are added to Rajdhani Trains.... inclusion for everyone in all train types :-p

Addition of sleeper coaches in Rajdhani & Shatabdi trains will not fully serve the purpose. Two or three UR coaches should also be there :)

for disagree....yes rajdhani is a pride of india but it is a pride for rich people to travel in this train this train is only for metro people like delhi and mumbai....it seems that there are only metro cities in india and other cities..villages are a dirty spot in india right.......so stop calling rajdhani as a pride its not our solider and it do not sacrifice something......respect whose who deserve,don't show respect who do not deserve... rajdhani is only the train of rich people and chetan bhagat like metro people its not shows the india its only shows the luxury life or rich people and show a thumb impression to poor people.

Some Bangla News Channels like Star Ananda were showing Rail Rokos at places like Durgapur Station by agitators today. The train at DGR was hauled by a WAP-4... I couldn't find any such video on the Internet :-(
This strike is not like any other xyz strike. Remember this is called by the service trade union actively supported by all the govt employees. Basic demand is stop outsourcing, govt is treating Indian organization likr in the US & trying to implement privatization everywhere. Tell me what is the per capita income in US? Here a person with >32 Rs daily wage is believed to be above poverty level.
