Jn to Padil bypass, etc. There is nothing new in this
It's like a common thing at all railway stations to prevent the engine from turning around. Like from Ballari Jn to Ballari Cant, from Daund Jn to Daund Chord Cabin, from Vadodara Jn to Chhayapuri, and even from Yesvantpur Jn to Banaswadi/KJM/SMVT. They do it at Mangaluru Jn by taking the Padil bypass, you know. So, yeah, nothing surprising here.
These people are over reacting. When nig stations like BZA, BRC are getting bypassed what's wrong in this. Only thing is a proper connectivity must be established to GDG bypass
The main trains which have good footfalls and connected within the state like GolGumbaz should be not be diverted when the bypass station is not centrally located and convenient in the towns and cities. In Vijayawada the trains are diverted only in night which don't have any requirement from public in that section(short distance within AP) and only 2 weekly trains are only diverted.
