విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ ఆధునికీకరణ, రద్దీకి తగ్గట్టుగా ప్లాట్‌ఫాంల సంఖ్యను మరో రెండు మూడు పెంచాలనే ప్రతిపాదన ఎప్పటి నుంచో ఉంది. విజయవాడ సహా రెండు జిల్లాల్లో పలు ఆర్వోబీలు నిధుల కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్నాయి. విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌కు అనుసంధానంగా శాటిలైట్‌ స్టేషన్ల అభివృద్ధి, కొత్త రైళ్ల ఏర్పాటు కొలిక్కి రాలేదు. స్టేషన్‌ నుంచి నిత్యం 250 రైళ్లు, లక్షన్నర మంది వరకు ప్రయాణికులు రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తున్నారు. రైళ్ల రద్దీకి పరిష్కారంగా విశాఖ వైపు నుంచి వచ్చే రైళ్లను కొన్ని రామవరప్పాడు, గుణదలలో ఆపేసి.. అక్కడి నుంచి రాయనపాడు మీదుగా హైదరాబాద్‌ వైపు మళ్లించాలనేది ప్రణాళిక. హైదరాబాద్‌ వైపు నుంచి వచ్చే రైళ్లను కొన్నింటిని రాయనపాడులో ఆపేసి.. అటునుంచి విజయవాడ స్టేషన్‌కు రాకుండా బయట నుంచే విశాఖ వైపు పంపించేస్తారు. కృష్ణా కెనాల్‌ స్టేషన్‌ను కూడా శాటిలైట్‌ స్టేషన్‌గా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలి. మౌలిక సౌకర్యాల ఏర్పాటు, రైళ్లను మళ్లించేందుకు అవసరమైన అభివృద్ధి చేపట్టాలి. ఇప్పటికే రాయనపాడు నుంచి ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా కొన్ని రైళ్లను ఆపుతున్నా.. పూర్తిగా లేదు. 2016లో కృష్ణా పుష్కరాలప్పుడు రూ.50 కోట్లతో ఈ శాటిలైట్‌ స్టేషన్లను ఆధునికీకరించాలని ప్రతిపాదించినా.. కొంతవరకే పనులు చేపట్టారు. వీటిని అందుబాటులోకి తేవడంలో విఫలమయ్యారు.వి విజయవాడ నుంచి దేశంలో అన్ని ప్రాంతాలకు ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీ అధికం.

విజయవాడ-నాగపట్నం మధ్య వేళంగిని ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ను నడపాలనే ప్రతిపాదన ఉంది. ఈ ప్రాంత క్రిస్టియన్‌ మైనార్టీలకు ఈ రైలు ఎంతో ప్రయోజనకరం.

ముంబయి, జైపూర్‌, బెంగళూరుకు కొత్త రైళ్లు కావాలి.

ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్‌: రాష్ట్ర విభజన తర్వాత.. నూతన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాజధానిలో పనిచేసే ఉద్యోగులు, ప్రజల కోసం నాటి ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు చొరవతో నాడు సికింద్రాబాద్‌ నుంచి (ప్రస్తుతం లింగంపల్లి నుంచి నడుస్తోంది) ప్రత్యేకంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన రైలు అది. నల్గొండ, గుంటూరు, మంగళగిరి స్టాప్‌లతో విజయవాడకు ప్రయాణించే ఈ రైలుకు.. అతి తక్కువ సమయంలో, తక్కువ ఖర్చుతో గుంటూరు, విజయవాడలకు వెళ్లే రైలుగా మంచి ఆదరణ ఉంది. ఎల్‌హెచ్‌బీ బోగీలతో కూడిన ఈ రైలు గతంలో పరిశుభ్రత, నిర్వహణ పరంగానూ మేటిగా ఉండేది. అలాంటి రైలు ప్రస్తుతం నిర్వహణలో నాసిరకంగా ఉందని ప్రయాణికులు ఫిర్యాదులు చేస్తున్నారు. తిరిగి వచ్చే సమయంలో సమయ పాలనా ఉండడంలేదన్న విమర్శలు వస్తున్నాయి. ఈ రైలు నిత్యం వేకువజామున 4.40 గంటలకు లింగంపల్లిలో బయలుదేరి విజయవాడకు 10.30కు చేరుతుంది. తిరిగి విజయవాడలో సాయంత్రం 5.30కు బయలుదేరి రాత్రి 10.15 గంటలకు సికింద్రాబాద్‌, 11.20కి లింగంపల్లి చేరుతుంది. గత శుక్రవారం లింగంపల్లి నుంచి విజయవాడ వెళ్తున్న రైలులోని సి-2 బోగీలో సీటు నంబరు 26 దగ్గర చెత్త ఉందని ఫిర్యాదు చేసినా ప్రయోజనం లేకపోయిందని ప్రయాణికులు తెలిపారు. అదే రోజు విజయవాడ నుంచి వచ్చే సమయంలో డి-5 బోగీలోకి నీళ్లు వచ్చాయని వాపోయారు. సాధారణ బోగీలతో పాటు.. ఏసీ బోగీలు కూడా అపరిశుభ్రంగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయని.. మరుగుదొడ్లకు వెళ్లలేని పరిస్థితి ఉందని అంటున్నారు.

నడుం నొప్పి తెస్తున్న సీట్లు..

ఈ రైలులోని సీట్ల నిర్వహణ కూడా సరిగా లేదని ప్రయాణికులు ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తున్నారు. వెనక్కు వాల్చినా.. ముందుకు ఒరిగిపోతుండడంతో నాలుగైదు గంటల ప్రయాణానికే నడుం నొప్పి వస్తోందని వాపోతున్నారు. దాదాపు 40 శాతం సీట్లకు ముందు.. కాళ్లు పెట్టుకునే ‘ఫుట్‌రెస్ట్‌’లు లేవని చెబుతున్నారు. ఎన్నిసార్లు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినా పట్టించుకోవడంలేదని, 5 గంటల్లో గమ్యస్థానం చేరాల్సిన రైలు.. తిరుగు ప్రయాణంలో కొన్నిసార్లు ఆలస్యంగా నడుస్తోందని పేర్కొంటున్నారు.
