The Izzatnagar Railway Division of the North Eastern Railway is closing 38 level crossings by 2025 to increase train speeds. These crossings will be replaced with underpasses. The cost of maintaining a level crossing is approximately INR 300,000 per month. To accommodate future high-speed trains like Vande Bharat, the railway division is prioritizing safety by constructing underpasses. The project will cover sections in Budaun, Bareilly, Bhojipura, Baheri, Kichha, Lalkuan, Mathura, and Farrukhabad. Each underpass will cost between INR 15 million to INR 22.5 million. The total budget for the project is approximately INR 870 million.

In sab crossings pe underpass banane ki approval mil chuki hai. Ek crossing pe lagabhag INR 1.5 crore se INR 2.25 crore ka kharcha aayega. Is project ke liye total budget lagabhag INR 87 crore hai.
