Jhansi station but the mother of the girl refused to file a complaint there. The FIR was finally registered at the Gwalior GRP station, where the girl and her mother were travelling to, after the train reached Gwalior. The accused was taken to Gwalior from Jhansi by the Gwalior GRP. The incident occurred on train number 12617 Mangala Express. The incident sparked outrage amongst the passengers, particularly due to the lack of response from the GRP at Bina station despite being informed about the incident. This is the second such incident reported within a span of two days, highlighting the safety concerns faced by passengers on train journeys.
