Though this train's last stop is Guntakal, the same rake will go to Hindupur as 77418 - Guntakal - Hindupur DEMU with 20 minutes buffer time at Guntakal. So people can travel from Ballari to Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Penukonda and Hindupur by this train without need of changing train at Guntakal.

Anantapur on the SBC-KCG mainline is the nearest railhead to Pennahobilam, in Anantapuram District of AP a well known Piligrim Center and sightseeing place. After alighting at the railway station, walk to the Arts College Bus stop and take any bus going to Uravakonda or Bellary. It falls 40 kms from the railway station. Next nearest railhead is GTL-Guntakal on the CSTM-MAS main line at 45 kms by road via Uravakonda.

means = Big Ahobilam. It is very much similar to the Ahobilam temple of Kurnool District. Here the main deity is Ugra Narasimha with Adi lakshmi & Chenchu Lakshmi as his wives. Its located on the banks of River Pennar and is close to a waterfall on the river pennar which also has a balancing reservoir (PABR Dam) built across. This along with Penakacherla dam (MPR Dam) are very famous day outing & picnic spots for locals. Penakacherla dam is about 23 kms from here for which the nearest rail head would be Garladinne GDE.

If you want to travel from GTL/GY/ATP to YNK and want to book tickets, you can't book them as it would always be not available because of zonal/distance restrictions. But you can book a ticket upto SBC on IRCTC and getdown at where ever you want. I usually do it for my mom under lower berth quota and ask her to get down at YNK.

Though ATP is a district headquarters, the public transport is not well developed, so most of the times you are forced to reach the station in private vehicles or autos.
There are share autostands in the town from where the share autos ply towards different areas. These arranged in the order of closeness to the Railway Station.
1) Tower Clock (600 m): From here you can board share autos towards SKU (via Saptagiri Circle, Old Town, Sangamesh Circle, TV Tower, RDT Stadium) or JNTU (via Saptagiri Circle, Old Town, Sangamesh Circle, Sharada
...
Nagar, JNTU and some go to Old College too, people shout "College, College" for this route don't get confused) or towards the Highway. Most of the times it will be fixed rate no matter where you board and alight (Rs.20 in the JNTU route), sometimes they will drop you at the Railway Station (for some extra money though).
2) Srikantam Circle (800 m): From here you can board share autos towards Gooty Road, Bukkaraya Samudram areas.
3) Saptagiri Circle (you can board share autos towards SKU or JNTU and alight here): From here you can board autos towards Ram Nagar, Bathalapalli.
These are the share auto stands I personally know about, if anybody knows more about them or more stands, please feel free to add them in the comments.

No, there are no city buses. There some are private buses which ply between Tower Clock and Housing Board Colony but they do not have fixed timings or fixed frequencies, so I thought they are not reliable to be mentioned. Actually, the Central Govt. in 2013 or 14 gave the APSRTC some city buses under JNNURM but they were never run in the city, instead they were run between ATP and DMM for some years but now I don't know what happened to them.

Atleast they have to run some experimental city buses service and make aware to public and compete with private services then it will be good enough in some ways
