While the station is still under development, it does really lack in terms of facilities. However, one good thing is availability of transportation. Shared autos available at just INR 10 to KTES and KTE allowing to catch your next train easily. These are available even during Kalinga Utkal arrival (night 11-12).

Neat n clean, moderate spicy, tasty food.
Snacks n Rajasthani Marwari thali.
Delivers food at Katni Jn n Katni Murwara.
It is only station in the route from guna to singrauli, where you can find something to eat like puri sabzi, idli. But vendor shops are very few.Its tough to buy packaged drinking water. However there are scout & guide boys who make drinking water available at free of cost.
But now this Station deloped a lot.
You can find everything to eat or drink here
