Located about 6 kms from Kanniyakumari, this place is famous for the Thanumalayar temple which is more famous for the deity of Anjaneya/Hanuman, one of the tallest structures of the God. The main deity here is Thanumalaya a.k.a Dattatreya an incarnation of all the 3 major powers i.e Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. the temple is quite a huge one with nice interesting sculptures so better to move around with a guide for interesting aspects of the structures
As i remember, this is on Kanniyakumari - Nagercoil route and one can easily walk down to temple after getting down at bus stop which is on main arch of temple. A huge temple as you mentioned with interesting sculptures.
