Sonpur and Patna Jn and Rajendra Nagar Terminal are well connected to each other by road.. But if you want to go Patna Jn from Hajipur Jn, taxis can take 3 to 4 hrs depending on the jam on Mahatma Gandhi Setu. So at least maintain 4 hrs of margin.
A tip useful for all of our railway passengers at Sonpur jn.
*All the trains from chhapra side are taken on either pf1 or pf2 ...never on pf3 or 4.

Very unique station which always have unusual train halt..25 mins to 1 hour..as next is single track Gandak River towards HJP.
Quite well equipped with catering services along with Amul Counter.
Regular offering: Egg Pakoda, Biryani, Packed irctc foods & various seasonal fresh fruits.

Well connected to other areas by bus,tampoo and train.
Train has started from Sonpur to Patliputra that takes approx. 20 to 25 minutes.
