Raniganj still makes sense, gives okay bookings to Shatabdi for DVC , Mejia Thermal and coal mine employees.
Barsoi halt was mainly given for Raiganj although ironically Raiganj don't have any direct bus service to Barsoi. Rather Dalkhola would have been a better option to serve Raiganj since both Dalkhola and Raiganj are located on NH 12 and have frequent bus services

Raniganj has Shatabdi so Vande Bharat halt is not needed. Shatatabdi route is more important for Raniganj as it connects coal bearing towns
