You seem to have misunderstood my point .
The way vande bharat has not been given halt , (despite Hon'ble MP already announcing it on X and thanking PM for it) If strong protests are not voiced now (it's good citizens are doing that) ,IR will not provide halts at udhampur to any upcoming premium trains (Rajdhani/duronto/vb) on completed USBRL route, on pretext of its proximity to Jammu and Katra and lesser passenger footfall.(in comparison to bigger stations like JAT, LDH, UMB).

Your point is valid, Udhampur has been getting halts since trains are terminated just 24 KMs ahead at SVDK.
The moment Srinagar connectivity is commissioned, new trains won't get halt at Udhampur.

Arey that is known already, halt kabhi remove nahi hote. Even Village level stations don't lose existing halts.
bro, now i understanded your opinion 👍 , you are right that during 2000s only few trains like malwa express, uttar sampark kranti and jammu mail were trains that came upto udhampur and remaining were local demu but after katra opening trains were extended from jammu and halts provided at MCTM except vande bharat and one more train which is not a premium train, it's just a normal express train, I don't know why railway didn't provided halt at udhampur for that train, that train is shri mata vaishnodevi katra - ghazipur city weekly express which stops at every major station exept udhampur

Inaugral run pe train ko showoff karna hota hai isliye extra places pe rokte hain, taaki log train ko dekh sake. 1st Commercial run pe train ki actual running start hoti hai.

Brk i always notice all premium train like asr shatabdi , svdk vb get delayed between umb -ldh whatvthe reason behind
Firozpur division is highly incompetent in its entire territory.
Ambala division is not good either in Ambala-Ludhiana & Ambala Bathinda sections, though it is good in Ambala Chandigarh and Ambala Saharanpur sections. Ironically Controlling is an issue in Punjab state.
Delhi division has improved its game. Lesser said about Moradabad and Lucknow divisions, the better.

Ya on may i travelled on asr swarna shatabdi and i think On that day it running on time even on umb -ldh stretch and suprisingly reach 10 min before at ldh after that maintain decent running but the depart from beas it stop on every station jandiala manawala all and the train which except to arrive asr before time it arrive 40 minute late that the power if fzr division
And on same trip when i return train reach umb at 21.00-05 but it managed ...

Could be due to single line departure of Andaman and Shri Shakti, though NR changed the departure of Shri Shakti from 11 PM to 11.10 PM to accommodate arrival of VB at 11 PM, still VB undergoes a slowdown.
Jab slow kiya hi hai to Pathankot and udhampur stoppage bhi de hi dena chahiye.
Ek taraf hi hua hai .. main passenger Jammu se hai .. Jammu tak slow down nahi hua hai .. moreover slow down regular late run ke wajah se ho raha hai …

See this is my personal opinion. Please mark my post if this happens in future don't get surprised then
Where is class divide here? This is non correct to call new technology as creating class divide.
If Delhi has Metro and Panipat or Karnal or Chandigarh does not have, does it mean there is class divide created.

When Shatabdis and Rajdhanis were or are introduced, they too affected other M/E trains.

My view : It reflects poor planning. Indian Railways needs to revisit and reslot all the Trains right from Drawing board. Not necessarily like ZBTT but changes are required. This will remove many overlapping Timetables, overtakes etc. This has to be done in TAAG every year but nothing is evidenced till date. Babu style working is still evident. Routes are upgraded, capacity is being expanded but Vision is blocked.

Everytime a new Premium Train crops up in NR, many other trains are slowed down citing slack. These trains might not be directly affected by that Premium Train. Many other zones are slowly following NRs footsteps.
