PDY MAQ trains can also get extended to Udupi. PM of these trains are at VM. So, instead of idling, can go to Udupi -- another 1.5 hours max.
Looks like it. It should go till Madgoan , in that case Goa gets another connection from Hyderbad and train will be a profit.

If they speedup little they can but till Karwar it's fine. But it's of no use for Telangana people, AP people are little lucky. Chennai people are most lucky they can take Lalbag or 12685 till KPD and can take this train till murdeshwar.

There is no use of extention to Madgaon for this train for Hyderabad as already connected dedicated biweekly train. Even Gokarna to Mangalore section those who can afford to pay 2 AC fare travel by bus while sleeper and 3AC only will travel to Mangalore and most travelers are headed to Khozikode and Kannur while the next preferred sector is Renigunta North Kerala Mangalore. In the extended potion is will be useful for Udupi Kundapur people to travel to salem to Renigunta.

Next move should be to extend one train each originating from TVC and MAS upto Murudeshwar or Karwar.
2 night trains (Malabar and Maveli) and 2 day time trains (Ernad and Parashuram) have PM at MAQ. Also Maveli/ Malabar have RSA with MAQ MAS Mail and West coast express. Ernad has RSA with MAQ CBE ICE. Meaning 7 trains are having PM at MAQ.
