RailFanSBC~ 393 blog postsis the GR getting cancelled after 15.3.14. My request is to utilise the GR in SBC-TPJ-RMM on Fridays and return on sat.(Timings of Chalukya b/w SBCto SA and after that via NKL, TPJ, KKDI)
The SBC-NCJ weekly exp can be run as YPR-PDY exp in the timings of YPR-PDY GR

GR is not required in SBC-RMM sector... Instead a daily ordinary exp our Tri-weekly between MYS-RMM via SBC-TPJ-KKDI is required...
Ordinary exp to RMM will be good. But availability is a GR rake (having RSA with KCVL-YPR GR and JP-YPR GR spl) and a normal rake (having RSA with SBC-ADI weekly exp)
Both are avl from Thursday to sunday morning. The patronage on current PDY GR is OK on one side (towards PDY) and dismal on other (towards YPR). Hence I suggested for RMM via TPJ

regarding the cancellation of 12255/56 soon, a SF exp is much needed !!!

PDY 20.30 VM 21.10/21.15 KPD 1.00/1.20 SBC 5.25/5.40 MYS 8.35 (mon/thu/fri/sat)

An SF instead of GR will be very good. But if it is routed via KPD VRI, ATU, CHSM will lose connectivity to YPR and people will start cribbing that connectivity b/w VRI and PDY is lost and so on.
That is why I suggested the SF in the same route.
My suggestion is based on existing rakes . So starting from MYS is not possible

Its not possible to touch VRI CHSM SA whn d route goes via KPD JTJ KJM SBNC SBC.. More over once TPJ SBC Gets connected via VRI, thn no need for any worries

Defnitely they will not the cancel this, as this is doing well on one side(YPR-PDY). TN delta region people working at Bangalore take this as an alternative or the last option towards villupuram, vriddachalam etc.these places are very well connected to tpj,cupj etc....Hope they will introduce a weekly train with 2a,3a,sl coaches...........To be waited patiently.
12257/8 should be given one more service ex YPR on Friday and ex-KCVL on Sat using this rake. It will run full with heavy waiting lists. We desperately need more trains to Kerala from Bangalore on Fridays. There is no route with such high demand in the South.

Jay Pacific* 7359 blog postsFriends an traveling along with my daughter to Pondy on this tonight. The train leaves from pf3 not pf1 as mentioned here. I wont be railfanning as wouldn't like my family to know about my passion . Anyways will try to sneak in a pic or two. Will be traveling to KMU on Cholan from Cuddalore day after. As this is my daughter's first visit to India don't want to freak her out.
SMB are a major irritant. Wonder how people travel in these Poor Mans Chariots. Absolutely not acceptable,even China where there are more people don't have these kind of nonsense cars. Big Thumbs Down to Laloo.

no ypr jp must use garib rath rake .. lhb rake is for ypr lko ..
r u sure that LHB rake is meant for YPR-LKO Exp?????
