Why is such a complicated arrangement made for MST holders where C1 (Only Sunday) & C2 (MON-SAT) are earmarked for MST Pass Holders?
They could have used C2 throughout the week for MST. Is there any specific reason behind this or the info updated on IRI is invalid?

I guess it is -
Both C1 and C2 for Mon to Sat and just C1 for Sun

That makes sense but the arrangement updated on IRI seems to be incorrect.

I've been observing for the past fortnight that all the Mumbai - Pune Intercity trains (Indrayani, Intercity, Deccan Express, Deccan Queen, Sinhagad and Pragati) are getting WCAM3/WCAM 2 and it seems like WAP-7 isn't allotted anymore to these trains.

That is true, Kalyan has been having a shortage of locos since some time now, Railway Board hasnt been allocating much P7 Locos to CR
