This accident has been happened at chicken neck and only 1 single line will remain as a connectivity with North East India with mainland.

Restoration work must be started at priority and should not take more then 24 hours for resumption.

Keeping in mind safety of common public and to reduce the casualties, IR should attach extra parcel vans on both side of all passenger trains running with ICF rakes, till the time they are converted to LHB rakes bcoz Despite the advent of new technologies like kavach/ACD or advance signalling system IR system is unable to cope up with increased freight traffic load.
This may sound quite medicore but all other safety mechanism installation speed is quite slow across various sections.

Ok. It has not been pin pointed above to kavach alone. It may be anything ranging from signal failure like that in Balasore accident or signal overshoot by LP(might be due to fatigue or sleeplessness) or anything which will come out after thorough investigation

Rising of rear end/front end collisions in the freight corridor was ignored by the railways from past 3 years.Now the near miss accidents saved by good fortune has started happening with passenger trains.Freight crew are made to work in most zones till the time they give fatigue memo twice to thrice.

As this collision from behind the impact will be more or less same for LHB coaches. The safety feature of LHB is they don't topple on other coaches and train just derails but will be stable. The 3 major accidents in past one year are collisions from behind due to signal malfunction and resulted in causality. Godavari Express derailed near Secunderabad on its own when train is running @ 100kmph in the curve but coaches didn't topple or climbed on front coaches due to LHB

There was no such evidence which can prove those innocent.

If they were not watching cricket match then what they were doing? Signal cannot be Green because train was having stoppage at that station. If there was any issue in breaks then why they didn't apply emergency brakes or inform Guard using Walkie talkie?

There was signal malfunction in that section from morning. The front train had a red signal and stopped before the outer signal of next station. The preceeding train had a double green signal and the LP of the train picked up speed upto 80kmph and ran for 5km after leaving from regular halt. Thecautomatic block signal failed tobshow red.There was no evidence of LP was watching cricket as announced by RM and recently clarified in newspapers in Vizag.

There were multiple faults.SM had issued them private no and authorization to go which is not the SOP in failure of Automatic signalling.The LPs of 08504 were reluctant to cross the signal in danger/red but SM asked them to do so.Also adequate evidence was not available with the CRS as the train manager in inquiry had not presented his Train journal and didn't explain the conversation of LPs with SM as they may come under inquiry.

Look at the data, railway accidents reduced drastically when Suresh Prabhu ji took.moral responsibility of accident and resigned, Piyush Goyal took over and prioritised safety. Mai nahi data keh raha hai ye baat that a new leader brought new priorities and things did change.

kafi bhramit chiz hai, accidents toh pan India mein ho rahe hai, kabhi Andhra, kabhi Bihar, kabhi Bengal in sab mein ek common koi hai toh woh hai leader. Koi company kharab perform karti hai multiple aspects mein, toh kya leader pe sawal nahi uth te?

Ye toh koi nahi keh raha hai last 10 years pure kharab the? Han pichle 3 saal pe zarur sawaal uth rahe hai. Do hell with defending RM! Aapke liye pyara hoga, mere liye nahi hai i survived a train accident myself recently, came out without any injury but did see injured and dead people. So, I know ki mental trauma toh koi puchta hi nahi, injuries k liye fir compensation hota hai.


So, yes call me out names, but I'll speak my mind.

There was a time after the Seemachal exp accident when railway was able to control the fatal accidents. Almost for 3 years, no fatal train accident took place. But things became worse after Ashwini Vaishnav took charge as RM. 5 major accidents in just 2 years -
