Industry and trade body urges railways to run night train between Karaikal and Bengaluru via Tiruchi

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nagapattinam has requested the Southern Railway to introduce a daily overnight express train connecting Karaikal and Bengaluru, passing through Nagore, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Tiruchi, Namakkal, and Salem. Partial cancellation, rescheduling, short termination of train services

Due to engineering maintenance in the Salem division, several train services are being altered. Additionally, Train 16843 Tiruchchirappalli-Palakkad Town Express, scheduled to depart at 1 pm on January 19th, will be rescheduled to depart at 3 pm (2-hour delay). The same train, scheduled to depart at 1 pm on January 23rd, 25th, and 30th, will be rescheduled to depart at 2 pm (1-hour delay).
