The Arunchal Express also provides a faster return journey from Chhapra to Delhi, departing at 7:55 PM on Wednesdays and Sundays and arriving at Anand Vihar at 11:30 AM the next day, taking 15:38 minutes less than the Rajdhani Express.

Katihar. Train Anand Vihar Terminal se Sunday aur Thursday ko shaam 4:45 PM pe chalti hai aur agle din subah 7:15 AM pe Chhapra pahunchti hai. Rajdhani Express, jo ki Delhi-Chhapra route pe bhi chalti hai, ke muqable, Arunchal Express ka travel time kam hai, aur yeh Chhapra pe 12 minute pehle pahunchti hai. Ticket price ki baat karein toh Arunchal Express ka third AC ticket Rajdhani Express se kaafi sasta hai, jiska price Rs. 1310 hai, jabki Rajdhani Express ka Rs. 2570 hai. Affected trains include: the Ayodhya Cant-Manakapur MEMU train (04260, 04259, 04241, 04257, and 04258), the Prayagraj Sangam-Manakapur Express (14233), the Gomtinagar-Nakaha Jungle Express (15082), the Barauni-Gwalior Mail (11124), the Anand Vihar Terminus-Naharlagun Express (22412), and the New Delhi-Saharsa Express (12554). The Amritsar-Jaynagar Express (14674) will also be diverted, resulting in a change of stations it will stop at.
