Sultanpur, and Ayodhya on October 17th. The 20808/20807 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakund Express will have a two-minute stop at Bhodwal Majri station from October 21st to November 21st. The railway stations of Kochuveli and Nemom have been renamed to Thiruvananthapuram North and Thiruvananthapuram South, respectively. The 18237/18238 Korba-Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express will have a stop at Katol station, and the 11040/11039 Gondia-Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus will have a trial stop at Puntamba station for six months.

Hirakud Express (20808) and the Nanded-Visakhapatnam Superfast Express (20812) will also have additional coaches starting September 7th and 4th respectively. Additionally, the Puri-Gandhidham Weekly Superfast Express (22974) has been canceled due to heavy rains and flooding in the Vadodara division of Western Railway.

To accommodate the expected rush during the festival season, the railway administration is adding extra AC 3-tier and sleeper coaches to various trains.
