The decision to make this stop at Jasidih station, a part of the Asansol division, was made on a trial basis for the 22213/22214 Shalimar-Patna Duronto Express. The 22213 Shalimar-Patna Duronto Express will arrive at Jasidih station at 2:29 AM for its initial journey, while the 22214 Patna-Shalimar Duronto Express will arrive at Jasidih station at 12:17 AM for its initial journey on March 13th. The train will stop for 2 minutes in each direction at Jasidih. There are no other stops between Jasidih and Patna. This is the second Duronto Express on the Jasidih railway line. The halt at Jasidih was made possible due to the initiative of Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey. Local residents have expressed their happiness over the addition of this train stop.

Due to maintenance work on the overhead equipment (OHE) on the Howrah-Burdwan Line, there will be traffic disruptions and power blocks on January 24th and 25th, 2024. Other trains, such as the 12308 Jodhpur-Howrah Express, 12360 Patna-Kolkata Garibrath Express, 22214 Patna-Shalimar Duronto Express, 12344 Haldibari-Sialdah Darjeeling Mail, and 12346 Guwahati-Howrah Sarayghat Express will be running at controlled speeds on January 24th and 25th. Additionally, the 12821 Shalimar-Puri Dhauli Express will depart Shalimar at 10:15 AM on January 23rd and 24th, and 10:45 AM on January 26th. The 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express will depart at 9:35 AM on January 25th and 10:35 AM on January 23rd, 24th, and 26th. These schedule changes are due to developmental works in the Kharagpur division.
