SR officials have degraded South India's first intercity to popularise DD. A train which people used to look upon to set the time of their watches. Such was its punctuality. N travellers preferred this train for day travel. Due to politics and other factors,stops were added,train was slowed down and degraded now almost to the status of a fast passenger. Still I remember the golden days when I travelled by 12639 to SBC. However degraded it mayb, its charm is not lost. It still takes thousands of comman men to their destinations and still holds the same status in railfan's heart. Days are not far when Lalbagh,kovai and others also mayb degraded. It is time that this degradation must b looked into.
is there any chance today brindavan express will be overtaken by mysore shatabdi ?
Few days back rescheduled lalbagh and SBC shatabdi overtook SBC ICE to make up for the delays.
A late running or a diverted train losses priority drastically. If a situation occurs where its inevitable for MYS shatabdi to overtake late running Brindavan , they need to allow Shatabdi because Shatabdi is a high priority train and has no stops in between MAS-SBC
