Hi friends. This is my request to all my friends, who will support to me???
The matter is about locomotives.
In between Arakkonam and Renigunta section we don't have WAP7 locomotives. The nearby shed is ROYAPURAM shed which is having full of WAP7 locomotives so in these some WAP7 locomotives are using for all stop passenger trains and some are using for famous superfasts. As I need at least 2trains in my route with WAP7 locomotives. One is my favourite train sapthagiri express. Every time this train gets WAP1,WAP4,WAM4 I hate. WAP1 locomotives....

Because, only RF's worry about what loco their train is getting. Not IR. They will just allot locomotives in such a way as to make optimum use of the available locomotives. Most of the trains in this route eventually have a loco change at RU or GTL and none of them have aggressive schedules. Their relaxed schedules mean that any locomotive can handle this route. So they are using WAP7's on other routes.
Besides, the WAP1 itself is very capable and has a very good performance. In due time, WAP7's will also run in this route, but again, IR does not care about which train gets which locomotive ( except some cases), they just care about whichever locomotive...

Locos are allotted based on the schedule. Trains with more halts or aggressive TT generally get P7s. As pointed out by Anirudh Sir,all locos are capable enough for the present schedule. Moreover I think more WAP7s will be needed and will be allotted in due course of time. Trains which regularly get P7s do get P1/4 on few occasions and still do maintain time. In the near future, we can see WAP7s in AJJ-RU-GTL section.
