Sabari Express so called "Joker of Both SCR and SR". Such a great train of IR which runs daily between the City of Nizams and Gods own country by covering a dist of 1555km and one of the highest revenue generating trains of both the zone's but still the "train is ICF", Good point about this train is It literally cant survive without RSA. Its always a "inky pinky ponky" for both zones for making it LHB because of ODD arrival at its Home station. Even...

NS, CCT/COA, MTM, all these depots do top notch maintenance of their trains. Sabari rarely used to be delayed because of it's slack filled schedule but that changed with maintenance works in SR after a derailment. The delays started from then onwards and it used to run 2 hrs late on a daily basis and used to trail 16382 back then which had a much slower schedule than this, which added up more delay. HYB wouldn't bother with the delay as they used to send the same rake as 17256, which affected it's maintenance. Not sure how NS talked out of this arrangement and now maintenance of Sabari is in the hands of TPTY. TPTY isn't the best when it comes to maintenance. Falcon used to have RSA with Narayanadri, maintenance was horrible even then.
Narayanadri became more worse now cause of its new RSA and less standing time at Lingampalli. SR is too lazy enough to take any trains.
I think its better if they speed up Sabari and could give better RSA than present RSA. It requires only 3 rakes. SR or SCR could operate it as individual train if they think so. After all its the only dedicated train between Keralas state capital that connects with Hyd

it must be speeded up. 17230:- SC 23.45; 282 GNT 04.35/45; 307 TEL 05.15/17; 415 OGL 06.47/49; 531 NLR 08.28/30; 569 GDR 09.27/32; 652 RU 10.55/11.05; 662 TPTY 11.20/25; 767 KPD 13.26/31; 851 JTJ 14.53/55; 1131 CBE 19.35/45; 1334 ERN 23.40/50; 1490 QLN 02.50/55; 1555 TVC 04.10|| 17229:- TVC 08.55; TPTY 01.45; SC 13.20|| 1555 kms in 28 hrs 25 mins @ 54 kph.
I would say no matter how much SCR speeds it up it will go up to 28 hrs, with less TAT on either side of its terminal, which will delay the train horribly in case of diversion. It will result in higher cancellation. Rather they should speed it up reasonably and maybe extend it to Nanded with PM at NED with General Quota upto charlapalli, which will be the only connection from NED, NZB to southern AP. 4 rakes will be needed anyway and that will guarantee it. Then in that case, Sabari can simply run upto Kanyakumari in case of space issues at TVC.
