In recent days I've seen unhealthy obsession of members with trains and stations.
For example the Vikramshila guy, he left the site over a stoppage rumor. The Malda guy, he's inconsolable after Farakka went to BLGT. The Ara, Patna and Sasaram guys, they think people are jealous of a city they probably won't even visit. The Kakinada and Khammam guys, they went on abusing other cities. Or the anti Vande Bharat guy, leaving no stone unturned to create controversy.

In the end it's mostly political support which can get your new trains or extend existing ones or in some cases extensions or terminal changes happen due to operational issues.
Also you are right that trains are not life but they are just a small part of life for most people and slightly bigger for railfans. There are much more important things to focus in life than just trains and railfanning. I think it's most of the young teenage folks that are making it an obsession.

Unwanted politics tend to ruin good things. Trains are just a part of it. If demands are justified, it's okay. But no feasibility studies, no demands, and extensions based on pure ignorance are the epitome of the political circus.
Growing up, I've traveled so much in trains. They've a special place in my life. Even my insta bio says I'm a railfan. I've traveled more than half of the country, mostly by trains. I love to gather more information about trains, so yes, they're a big part of my life, too.

Politics has destroyed IR itself and is in turn encouraging some politically motivated souls to destroy this useful forum also. While arguing some members tend to forget that this forum could be best used for sharing their experiences, knowledge and information above all with fellow members and common public instead of bending unrightfully forward to justify their demands or ideas. It's this uniqueness that placed this forum above others for many years but is slowly deteriorating due to lack of interest shown by senior members owing to many reasons. Hope there is sound recovery coming soon from stores for this.
I've been following this forum since 2015-16 I think, but never joined it. The everywhere vs NWR argument of 2020-21 was the first argument with political hues that I saw here.
Recently I was having a discussion on TeamBHP about online forums dying in India, due to no moderation. I was surprised to see someone mentioned how they stopped visiting IRI due to the same reason. The same reason IRFCA have stopped adding new members directly.

LHBfied1307172SUPEREXPRES~ 289 blog postsIt could be convert in superfast express service with speed-up n reduce unnecessary stoppages with Sleeper n AC coaches between Rampurhat and Gaya to connect these two holy places.....
Or
Alternatively another service between these places should be introduce.

I think due to RSA, nothing can be done for this train. Maybe, if demand is there, a different train[possibly, one doing the journey overnight] should be better.
Yes, that's why I also suggest for a separate rake for this much needed service here. I think @DRM Malda should think on it.
ER ne achha se abhi tak apne stations ka purana look sambhaal ke rakha hai
This train was originally started for Nanded then extended to Nagpur then it was short-terminated at Adilabad and is now extended till Balharshah and looking at TAT at BPQ it might now go to Gondia. What CR and SCR are doing with this train?

CR has all sorts of excuses for not introducing intra state trains in MH. Barring few trains to Konkan and a few towards NGP, CR hardly runs any holiday specials within the state. Even the ones running to Konkan now are weeklies or biweeklies. I remember there used to be daily specials in all seasons towards konkan but that too has become history.
Either they dont introduce trains to interior MH or come up with some weekly trains with absurd and slow schedules which are bound to fail and they cancel it due to lack of patronage

Extending to Gondia via Nagbhir would provide connectivity to the state capital from stations in BPQ-G section since currently there is no direct train available to Mumbai. However, even with this extension, the trains should first come to BPQ and then take a LR to proceed towards Nagbhir so that BPQ passengers are also served.
Also CR should find a way to make 22109 daily

12071 should have been extended to Nanded instead of Hingoli with a faster TT and run time of 8.5 hours. For Hingoli and Washim passeners, following overnight trains could be introduced -
1. CSMT - NED Express Daily via Manmad-Akola-Hingoli-Purna
2. CSMT - Gondia Express Daily via Manmad-Aurangabad-Purna-Hingoli-Akola-Nagpur (erstwhile 11201/02 LTT-AJNI Express)

instead of csmt ned exp via ak pau ltt ned exp would have been resumed as daily would have been a great option
all stupid politics and cold war between cr and scr ruining mmr ned route
So Now VB going to be as SF mail Exp speed.
then why it was launch,? why spoiled all major Mail/Exp trains?

But accept, Due To VB Trains, Indian Railway totally disrupt.

There was absolutely no need of Vande Bharat trains at some routes. They should replace Shatabdi Trains. If they want more publicity then stop Shatabdi and run Vande Bharat on same timing.
There is no use of running Additional trains just for satisfying your ego of running 75 Vande Bharat trains.

On all routes where VB is running existing trains are being treated like insects which can be killed easily. Many examples are there
Very true, and same time rake standardization should stop and let it be like ratio two third and one third as it was earlier.
rake standardization should be done with proper care and investigation. Firstly if you really want to earn money then start proper ticket checking.
