Railway Board dropped that order till further notice.Now no zones can do any changes in trains category.
Jodhpur Division proposed MEMU shed at Bhagat ki Kothi(Jodhpur) with 3 Pitlines(2-16 Coaches, 1-24 Coaches).
Not many MEMUs are running from Ju. Not sure if this is needed. Earlier Merta Rd was supposed to be developed as MEMU depo
These 3 pit lines proposed are for MEMU shed or passenger/express?

From 14 coaches to 18 coaches am increase of 310 berths. As more number of 3ACE are there better they increase the frequencies of all Garib rath with an additional rake in that route where ever the slot is not shared by other trains.
Why this train is not having reservation for 2S class? Why all are given as UR coaches?

Specially in 20402, if you come after 17:00 at Charbagh then you are not gonna seat in General. You have to travel by standing inside the coach.
2S shall be increased so that seat confirmation will be there and passenger can board by coming 10 min prior to departure.
Same applies in SL and 3A as well.

It shall be full length 24 Coaches ICF Train with 8 General, 8 2S, 2 SLR, 2 3A, 2 CC, and 2 SL.

when 14227/28 & 24227/28 Varuna was cancelled and 20401/02 Shuttle was inaugurated post covid,
It should have been announced with max 2S + 1 or 2 CC (as per requirement) and GS as per requirement.

Though this post was about 10 months back about new introduction it popped today due to rating given.
Introduction of train just once a week will not deter or drive away travellers from buses for an overnight sector. Return train is a day time train with irregular arrival at Bikaner. Atleast should leave in afternoon from Amritsar to reach Bikaner by morning 500. To make an impact in passrnger it should be a triweekly train with convenient overnight timings.
