Went to rly Stn on Tuesday to drop my mother boarding Tirumala express. So could spot 2 orange Bharat at the same time. BBS parked in stabling line, Secunderabad on PF 1.
At Visakhapatnam Secunderabad VB and Howrah Chennai mail given arrival time is 1350 but VB is arriving before time at 1335-1350 before mail and to Secunderabad 5-15 mins early.

There is a TE limit on the bridge 500 m ahead.Spotted 12553 with 37249 Cnb Wap 7 which was running late by 27 minutes.On pf 3 came 15708 which was running late by 6 hours led by LDH Wap 7 30803.12553 took a long halt of half hour due to some block on up line so was not able to capture the departure. ...

Previously Lal Quila Express was the only option for Dakshineswar to Delhi, now Lal Quila Express is cancelled permanently and there is no train from Dakshineswar to Delhi. If Sealdah - Ajmer Express gets halt at Dakshineswar, Passengers can deboard at Agra and then catch any Delhi Bound train from Agra.

Ajmer Express halt should be a replacement Halt for Lal Quila Express towards Kanpur. Before 2014, only Lal Quila Express had gone towards Kanpur from Dakshineswar, after cancellation of 13111, no train from Dakshineswar has a halt for Kanpur, Tundla bound trains.
If you want to give halt then give Express train halt not a SF train like Upper India Express used to halt at Dakshineshwar in the past
I doubt if anyone used to travel in trains like Lal Quila, Janata, Upper India, Koaa Anvt all the way till Delhi. Those trains used to serve as a connection between intermediate stations.
And Dakshineswar is very much within KMDA. It's completely unnecessary to provide halts to such long distance trains just for the sake of few localities.

Bandel, Naihati also falls under KMDA!!! Then why Main line bound expresses gets halt at Naihati and Bandel?????
1. DAKE is very well connected to SDAH by local train and to HWH by metro railway. Moreover Dakhineswar is very much a part of extended Kolkata City, Bandel and Naihati are quite far off from Kolkata proper and represent a significant chunk of population by themselves.
2. Dakhineswar station is quite constrained by space issues as well, long distance and local trains have to stop on the main lines.
3. Stopping a superfast train originating from SDAH is pointless since it is already so well connected to SDAH. Moreover it would open...
