If parcel Van is on lease, we can't book parcel but can book luggage?
If i have to take my bike along with me, and parcel van is on lease? I m allowed to book my bike or not? I have tickets in the same train.

I'm not sure if it holds true in all the cases, but I booked my bike as luggage, and on that day the parcel van was on lease. ETW-BSB, Marudhar Express.
Received the bike after a week of no details of whereabouts, a lot of complaints on RailMadad and multiple phone calls with the booking offices, and still had to pay the late fine because railways didn't know where my bike was.

They'll load it once they get a freed up Parcel Van.
I had also thought about sending My Friend's Scooty (Destiny 125) alongwith him from Pune to Rourkela on board Pune Hatia Express. Parcel Guys didn't load it that day, as they first Load Perishables and if Parcel Van is on Lease then the stuff of Entity it has been leased to.
The Scooty was able to be loaded on 3rd Day after my Friend had left Pune. That too after Intervention of a Local Corporator thanks to my Contacts.

From November 5 Gen coaches. Sleeper will remain at 2. Rare to see more general than sleeper but good move
Instead of reducing 3AC they should have reduced those two economy coaches.
Couldn't understand what are they trying to do directionless. 4 GS coaches are ok but why add 5th GS? Instead maintain 2AC 4 3AC4 and convert 3ACE to SL to 5 coaches.

Earlier it is the direct train to Varanasi but later during Lalu's time as a RM, this train was forcibly extended to Chhapra in 2008 and many South Indians were protested against this. I saw often this train many spiritual tour operators using this train usually above 50-60 ages for visiting Prayagraj Varanasi for doing Pind Daan, Pitru/Shraddha Karma etc also lots of South people visit this above places. Better SR can run another train to Varanasi via BPQ G NIR JBP route for shortest route if slot is not available and there is not even a daily train to Varanasi to Chennai since ages. Travelling in Sanghamitra/Bagmati/other weekly trains towards Bihar and changing at DDU is quite riskier as from an perspective of South Indian spiritual traveller. My family members (my Dad, Grandmother, my Aunt) etc travelled...

Not surprised since it also has "Ganga" in its name hehe, but it's a good enough extension in my view since Dhanbad is already ignored by ECR because of it's love for Patna, ECR can't wrap it's mind around the fact that Dhanbad is the second biggest city it is serving.

Deserving stations should get there needs done.I feel pity on big stations and city like Varanasi whose almost many trains got extended recent example BSBS NDLS superfast 2 days currently and Kamayani.There is a sheer neglection by zones and whole Varanasi is divided in these two neglecting zones NR/NER.Varanasi should gets it needs done especially towards Bengaluru /Chennai and surat.
Oh, the plan is simple. Make the route so pathetic that even other zones hesitate to use your route.
An almost straight route through the plains of Northern India, that's been restricted to 100 kmph. And thanks to the DFC like treatment by NR/MB, trains keep stopping every few minutes. And even if your train acheives that ridiculous MPS, it feels like it's going to be your last journey.
