If parcel Van is on lease, we can't book parcel but can book luggage?
If i have to take my bike along with me, and parcel van is on lease? I m allowed to book my bike or not? I have tickets in the same train.

I'm not sure if it holds true in all the cases, but I booked my bike as luggage, and on that day the parcel van was on lease. ETW-BSB, Marudhar Express.

Received the bike after a week of no details of whereabouts, a lot of complaints on RailMadad and multiple phone calls with the booking offices, and still had to pay the late fine because railways didn't know where my bike was.

Get the details confirmed with the parcel clerks themselves, and even then take their word with a pinch of salt. Even they're not aware of what they're doing.

They'll load it once they get a freed up Parcel Van.
I had also thought about sending My Friend's Scooty (Destiny 125) alongwith him from Pune to Rourkela on board Pune Hatia Express. Parcel Guys didn't load it that day, as they first Load Perishables and if Parcel Van is on Lease then the stuff of Entity it has been leased to.
The Scooty was able to be loaded on 3rd Day after my Friend had left Pune. That too after Intervention of a Local Corporator thanks to my Contacts.

was loaded on Azad Hind Express, the parcel guys weren't able to offer load it at Rourkela first time. They had put lot of other heavy items on the Scooty while Loading. Scooty had to travel all the way till Tatanagar and return to Rourkela through some other train.
The whole process was a mess. Railways required NOC from RTO as well for Interstate Movement of Scooty. Even after taking Scooty from Railways a lot had to be invested in Servicing of Scooty in order to get it back to shape.
I'd suggest you to go for Normal Packers and Movers. I had Aggarwal Packers and Movers transfer my Bike (Meteor 350) and Scooty (Activa 4G) from Pune to Delhi safely alongwith my other House Stuff.
Railways is quite risky.

Couldn't understand what are they trying to do directionless. 4 GS coaches are ok but why add 5th GS? Instead maintain 2AC 4 3AC4 and convert 3ACE to SL to 5 coaches.

Why Railway board never took action for increasing the frequency of this train? Earlier it is the direct train to Varanasi but later during Lalu's time as a RM, this train was forcibly extended to Chhapra in 2008 and many South Indians were protested against this. I saw often this train many spiritual tour operators using this train usually above 50-60 ages for visiting Prayagraj Varanasi for doing Pind Daan, Pitru/Shraddha Karma etc also lots of South people visit this above places. Better SR can run another train to Varanasi via BPQ G NIR JBP route for shortest route if slot is not available and there is not even a daily train to Varanasi to Chennai since ages. Travelling in Sanghamitra/Bagmati/other weekly trains towards Bihar and changing at DDU is quite riskier as from an perspective of South Indian spiritual traveller. Not surprised since it also has "Ganga" in its name hehe, but it's a good enough extension in my view since Dhanbad is already ignored by ECR because of it's love for Patna, ECR can't wrap it's mind around the fact that Dhanbad is the second biggest city it is serving.

The division itself is uninterested in anything but coal loading. Add to it the statement from our 'highly qualified' RM, they've got a silent nod to overlook the need of people for more freight revenues.

DDU division runs specials from GAYA on the same slot which was denied by ECR HQ stating path constraints. So you can understand what's going on and what's to come.

Deserving stations should get there needs done.I feel pity on big stations and city like Varanasi whose almost many trains got extended recent example BSBS NDLS superfast 2 days currently and Kamayani.There is a sheer neglection by zones and whole Varanasi is divided in these two neglecting zones NR/NER.Varanasi should gets it needs done especially towards Bengaluru /Chennai and surat.

Oh, the plan is simple. Make the route so pathetic that even other zones hesitate to use your route.

An almost straight route through the plains of Northern India, that's been restricted to 100 kmph. And thanks to the DFC like treatment by NR/MB, trains keep stopping every few minutes. And even if your train acheives that ridiculous MPS, it feels like it's going to be your last journey.

And even the Ayodhya wali line has a major bottleneck between Jaunpur and Zafrabad. They can't figure out how to make trains travel 16km from DDU to BSB in less than 1.5 hours. The great Varanasi Smart City Limited and NR have been planning a new bridge for years now because 'बड़ा प्रोजेक्ट है समय लगेगा'.

Everything you've said holds a common consensus around here. But then come NR and it's unions, they'll go to the end of earth to not let that happen, you can see the example of the plan to merge all Prayagraj stations in NCR. All you'll get is pathetic controlling, MPS straight out of 90s, wobbly trains and the typical whataboutism that nothing has been done in the last few millennia.
