Let them make it public . Let ppl know whats the original agreement? For how many years? Or the usual 99 years govt rule. That way even pune cstm was a very challenging route. Look at the number of passengers. Even hassan majn route is developed similarly , with doubling n electrification , these restrictions may be removed.
Let's look at solutions till such dream projects might come true.
1. Let hmrda run trains for x years . No hard n fast rule that only swr or sr or irshud operate. Konkan railways

is doing wonderful service in the coast.
Let hmrda introduce three more daily trains , with high priority between has sbc.
2, faster doubling of sbc ask.
3. Let sbc has route be taken on priority basis.
4. Till then run trains with aggressive tt upto hassan either via ask or mys.
5. Let hmrda be allowed to establish dedicated freight corridor from majn to mas via sbc , majn to vskp via ubl or bay.
6. All in all utilise the track, strengthen it. Plan freight trains accordingly. Doubling plus electrification is the best alternative.

the whole issue is regarding the objection by CRS after conversion from MG to BG. CRS has instructed to build catch sidings at all crossing stations in ghat between SBHR-SKLR. Until these are made available two passengers trains cannot be in this section at the same time. During day freight and passengers trains are allowed to cross one other but during night crossing is not allowed in this ghat section. To build catch sidings railway will have to acquire land, basically forest land and have to take permission from various ministries which looks tough. specially getting environmental clearance. In its latest request SWR has taken CLR-QLM reference where in similar terrain trains are running without restriction. Will have to wait for safety commissions reply.

Miraj Hubli Managalore has no train after conversion to BG.
Miraj to Trivandrum via Madgaon also there is no train.
Similarly no train between Vasco and Howrah or Guwahati after conversion of Miraj Latur to BG.
Also no connectivity between Goa and Bhuvaneswar after conversion of Miraj Kurduwadi.
Crores

of money spent on conversion of Miraj Bangalore and Miraj Kurduwadi routes have gone as wastage. There is BG track but no useful trains.
