Business as usual for TN this morning to arrive at MAS outer 45 minutes early and eventually arrive at MAS ontime. Covered BZA-PON in 5 hours at 79kmph. Hopefully gets speeded up once 5th and 6th line are complete b/w BBQ and MAS.

To cater to the demands of 10 PF,2-3 tracks are enough..
As Boxer Bhai suggested rightly if you build 6-7 tracks then all the trains will be arriving simultaneously & where to keep them in a congested terminal?

The main problem is cross over of trains from Ponneri side to Mooremarket side for EMU trains. As per the pattern SR always allows trains as per their arrival time at MAS. Simulatenous arrival and departure can be done once 5th & 6th line is completed between BBQ & MAS which will help in taking the train back to yard quickly. If trains are taken back to yard quickly and efficently then obviously we will have vacant PFs for train arrivals.
