Passengers of Bengaluru-Chennai Mail that departed from Bengaluru on the second last day of the year were amused when they noticed Rats and Rodents in their coaches. Desperate attempts to bring this to notice of the TTEs were in vain as all the TTEs were busy shoving away the W/L passengers from their coaches to others back and forth. Ravi Sankaran who claims himself to be a regular traveler in S2 coach of this train was left inconsolable as the "Sleep Killer" train's Rats were going to spoil his already shortened sleep. He was overheard telling his train friend (another IT professional who claimed "he takes Mail regularly") about the ever increasing early arrival of Mail at Chennai.
