Can anyone tell me how to reach Banaswadi station from Silk board Junction. Have got a ticket from YPR in YPR-KCVL Garib rath express. The train also halts at Banaswadi.
Which is a better option connectivity wise: Is it going to YPR or Banaswadi?? I have heard that the connectivity to Banaswadi is not that good .

Banaswadi station lacks public transport facility. Of course, you can take Rickshaw/Taxi to any station.

Agreed. Best option is to change the BP and board at Hosur. Saves so much time as Rajeev has to start from Silkboard atleast 2-2.5hrs before scheduled departure at BAND. It will be a nightmare crossing Bellandur, Marathahali, Old Madras road at that time. If you cannot change BP, better catch 500 series volvo to Hebbal and follow point 1 in post above.
Vinay, since he has already booked the tkt from YPR, boarding from HSRA would be a risky proposition.That apart auto drivers fleece passengers at HSRA especially for rides to and from the railway station. Best option like you have mentioned is to take a combo of bus and taxi.

Direct bus also available. MBS 8 or 412. But frequency is less. (Can get down at Jai Bharath Nagar. Walkable distance to station, less than a KM,)
