Will SWR run trains for public? Or will it be only for freight just like Hassan-Mangalore route?
Experience of SWR shows that they will use double line for freight only and cite some reasons for avoiding passenger trains.

Y is SWR not interested in Tumkur-DVG via Sira, Chitradurga new line ??? There is no progress at all about it.
Also they r taking years for Amaravathi Colony-Hospet line eventhough its completed, they r not running even a single train.

SWR is always like this only. lot of incomplete lines are there in SWR. on completed lines, you will not get any trains. if you are lucky and get a train then it will go via the whole world and still if you prefer to travel by such a route, it will touch your town at midnight or odd hours.
SWR will do anything and everything to force you not to use trains. SWR trains are very clean and expert in cleaning trains. not for running trains which are useful to public.

That's really a great news for Goa. Hope this project gets a starter soon. Really hoping that SWR completes this project soon and Vasco gets most of its genuine demands fulfilled.
