CBE RMM daily express is sureshot but still PGT definitely needs a dedicated connectivity to RMM. In MG era , PGT single handedly used to fill 90% passenger to Rameshwaram. So many people from PGT will travel to Madurai,Ramnad,Rameshwaram. Hope this stupid SR thinks about that old passenger train from PGT. If its from MAQ/ CAN im sure that PGT wont have good quota

The Hill you see is called 'Dhoni Hills' (Don't know how it got name, anyway it has this name, before Mr Dhoni became famous). In between the two hills is Malampuzha Reservoir.
The hills behind is the once which train crosses in Etimada area, Extension towards Left side will reach Silent Valley National Park, Atapadi Reserve forest and finally to ooty.

Also there is another person in the photo....maybe a avid railfan or press reporter. But whatever maybe the case i am sure the palakkad pollachi route should make for some good viewing . Some pictures will definitely come for the first time in this site once the route opens for traffic
