bro there's huge difference in the Infrastructure & economic condition btwn both the nations
I feel that, we need to see one proper rainy season and then if there are any flaws, railways will correct it...slowly situation can improve... Also a new railway line between Chandranathpur and New Silchar would do a lots of difference even if train runs slow in Mountain region. And this is possible only with the demand, and demand would improve after the railway line reaches Imphal.

It is still far better than Hassan Mangalore railway line in SWR, Operations on this railway line started almost 10 years ago and there is only one daily and one try weekly express running on this section. And I am confidant that, once there is a demand there will be a supply automatically :).
They could have easily started a dedicated bi weekly Kolkata service.That could have been better rather than fixing kanchen or running the fast passenger.So many rakes are being run as specials.Cant they allot a dedicated single rake.The presently running Kanchenjungha link is running without Pantry car and runs slow than the fast passenger.
