A small tribute video to my favorite train in the Mumbai Pune Mumbai section which is celebrating its birthday today. During my one year stay at Akurdi (Pune), I stayed close to the tracks and always made a point to spot this train on a daily basis especially because it used to get some of the best diesel locomotives from Erode DLS. For some reasons the other legendary trains of the section, powered by the WCAM's, sadly never invoked much interest to me. The link for this train, presently, is with the Kalyan DLS. Akurdi was the spot where this train used to give its best MPS performance.

AlCo's from other zones are not allowed to enter CSTM due to OHE height issue, The regular link is with kalyan DLS only, sometimes if gets offlink Pune DLocos
Okkk...Means now Erode has stopped giving ALCO to this train.

Because earlier from Many years , Indrayani was getting a Dedicated Erode WDM/WDG 3A for complete Mumbai-Pune-Solapur and return journey.

Only CR Alcos are allowed to enter CSTM or rather allowed to cross Dadar due to height issues. CR has reduced the height of their Alcos
