The main building of Dhanbad Railway Junction, set up in 1880 and then rebuilt in 1956, may have to be demolished to facilitate laying of tracks...
Make the line Bye-pass Dhanbad Station by 5 kms. New station called Dhanbad City can be made on the EDFC
Highlighting below points from the news content :-
1. although we are also considering another option of laying tracks on the other side of the station complex. If that works out, then we may not need to touch the main building," he said.

Ashwini sir my feeling are :-
1. Hope they can't make lines on the other side of the station and the main building has to be broken off! Yes you saw it right!
I hope that they have break the main station building and hopefully shift back the DHN station to where it originally was near Mainaitand! The present complex has been a misengineered and the tracks bifurcate almost immediately leaving the option of rake reversals impossible and leaving 3 good platforms virtually under-used.

Finally the information provided is not actually accurate!
The present main building was built in 1956!
The old station complex that was built in 1880 in Mainaitand is non existent as of now!
