Diverting bank from their usual work is not so much welcome. Coz most of the banks are v v slow in their normal money transactions and they are always in shortage of staff.. So let them do their own work first then others. Yes it will be greatly welcome if their is a separate staff for railway ticket. Then it won't affect much to normal bank work

IR is planning to set up ticket vending machines and open up counter for selling tickets in bank. currently on trial basis this will be done in selected branches of SBI in major cities, if successful will spread throught country.
