Now Train became too small ( no of coaches reduced).because of no connection trains for passengers , it may be better solution - Reshedule a Chennai superfast as a connection train of to this train. Mangalore central station till 8 am not taking arrival trains even though platforms are available. sufficeint platforms & track there at central, No need built an extra platform & track line to this central station. SAT & MON taking arr & dep extra weekly trains. Why Can't do other days also..
Saw a news Southern Railway has recommended to the Railway Board to amalgamate the two loss-making trains — Mangaluru - Madgaon Intercity Express and Kasaragod-Mookambika Road Passenger to run as Kasaragod-Madgaon-Kasaragod service via Mangaluru Central.
That's why need changes on arrival time schedule. passangers who wants to go konkan route ( udupi to Goa) from T.N states, if preponed time of arrival chennai-mangalore superfast 8 am. because 8 to 9 am. 2 trains were running konkan route ( 1 for Goa & 1 for Karwar). SR may come out from running inloss of this train.
Proposed to start the amalgamated train at 10 from MAQ now.
12686 can easily be speeded up. It reaches Kasargod at 7:40 but MAQ at 9:05. The arrival of Maveli should be advanced to arrive the 12686 early at MAQ. But mostly railway will not do this, as they will say platform constrains/operational constraints etc.

I> Opereations - Their (SR) Target till Kannur & Maximum upto Kasargod. Then, they are sending the train to Mangalore just for cleaning the trains, not for passengers. so, no time & station Maintanance, also No Sign board from Road or No Welcome arch. No one can make it out station is there, still so many people are asking where is the station..?
