MAQ MAO ICE has decent patronage now. Runs full in the return direction.
Instead they can make Kudla daily and eventually cancelling the current one via TK.
Definitely it wont sir , though the time taken will be a bit long than bus , still it will manage to garner a decent patronage.
The other triweekly via Arsikere has a wonderful patronage till Subhramanya (personally traveled). This one is via the shorter route as well so this will definitely garner good popularity among the public.

Requested to start 16518 at18:00hrs from CAN. But the answer from Railway was -there was no platform available at MAQ. The train is blocking one platform for two hours there, that will be free and can be used for the same, dont understand railway's logic.
For them everything is "operationally not feasible/technical constraints".
Malabar/Kannur passenger/TVC Exp/Subramanya/ weekly(Pondi/Kacheguda) is occupied the platforms between 10-11 AM. If do some adjustments they can accomodate the same from MAQ.
