This will be a huge boost and encourage passengers techies connect to manyata tech park (Hebbal) , tech parks in outer ring road (Bellandur/Carmelaram station) and electronic city (Heelalige).

Hardly any train between Salem and Bangalore useful for pax of this region. Why SR cannot run daytime trains from Salem to Hosur? SWR is busy in running trains to Eastern states. Atleast SR can run one or two trains. Road traffic is very high in this sector.

As per the article, this is single line and track utility has already exceeded 100 per cent.........also i have observed that the distance between stations is high between Hosur -Dharmapuri and Dharmapuri-Salem. Trains are definitely made to wait for some time for crossing . Moreover the speeds are generally slow in this stretch. Seems doubling is the way forward and then only more trains can be started
