Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to provide additional stoppage to Train No. 22119 / 22120 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali – Mumbai...
* Janshatabdi with 15 ICF pax coaches (10-IIS, 2-CC,1EC,2DR) and high, patronage just follows Tejas with 13 LHB pax coaches (12ACC,1EC) with poor patronage. ACDD in departs just after Janshatabdi.
* Three chair car trains departing from Mumbai within half an hour is not desirable especially when Mandovi with more comfortable sleeper coaches departs just 1:30 hours after the ACDD. On the other hand not a single chaircar intercity departs from Goa in morning.
* It would be better to run Tejas with 12-IIS, 6CC, 2EC coaches departing from Mumbai in morning....

rather, shift tejas to other end (start from MAO in morning) and extend ACDD to VSG.

* IR does not bother because on one end they are enjoying monopoly over railway ownership and operation and on the other hand they get 7th pay commission irrespective of how inefficiently they are managing the huge national resources. Above all they are getting handsome pension after retirement.

there is also the issue of Railway Board enjoying a rather great deal of power.
those people aren't always necessarily connected with ground level, plus they happen to be at the end of their service so don't care much about taking long term decisions.
