I really question the phrase 'not enough traffic'. I have seen the traffic on BSP ROU stretch, and I believe it's much less in comparison with this.
I believe ET-ALD is the only Diesel section which gives stiff competition to A Grade routes in India.
BSL ALD section was even on top for speed upgradation in B category routes. It's just that this forms the 'secondary' Mumbai Kolkata route, hence receives no attention. I believe it is more/ equally important to Mumbai NGP Kolkata and Mumbai GTL MAS routes.
Believe kya bhai Asli fact hai Shayad hi koi section hoga jaha sab Train's 65-70+ ka Avg deti hai aur Almost sabhi Train's 22 coacher Plus , BSL-ET-ALD ko A grade hona chaiye
