Did you know that the Ganga & Kaveri rivers are connected? ... by Mysore Varanasi Express - Vishwanath Joshi

Electrification of this route was approved in budget of 2005 or 2007 not sure exactly, but the opposition parties opposed this stating "Not enough traffic to require Electrification". Although I believe that being the "Imperial Mail Route" this should have been electrified along with NGP-NDLS route.
