With the opening of PGT- Pollachi and Kollam Sengottai routes, many trains are getting extended. This is a good decision.
But this seems to get extended to illogical levels. Say TVC to MDU Amrita and Palaruvi to Tirunelveli. Why not run these as circular trains? Say TVC to TVC via ERN, PGT, MDU, TEN, NCJ. Or PGT to PGT via SRR, ERN, QLN, TEN, MDU, PLNI. Vice versa also.
Already we have MS GUV EXP and QLN TO MDU Passenger running in circuitous routes. Extend them to their originating point via...
