Is this guy Shyam Sundar blind by any chance? Has he seen the pathetic state of MAJN and MAQ stations under PGT division?
There is always a concern for introducing a new train from rest of karnataka to Mlore. SR doesnt give permission and trains to be curtailed at Mlore Jn which creates lot of inconvenience to commuters. Let the Palghat Division come under SWR.
Palakkad division should be in-charge of railways from Trivandrum to Kannur and upto Palakkad only, not beyond.

Ur ex minister velu introduced this train ..this was proposal up to tvc but he intentionally extend to TN
SR PGT has methods to take Kerala trains to MAQ, but find ways to avoid SWR trains from Bangalore, Bijapur.
