FACT I realised now:
Electrification in India can never reach 100% target bcz of Pamban Bridge,even if new bridge is constructed, elevation is not possible
In the future,Diesel loco lovers would go to Rameshwaram

Complete new bridge including foundation is to be constructed parallel to the present one. Should take a couple of years together to execute and therefore existing line is left as it is to not disrupt traffic.
Its possible to electrify the bridge even if its is elevated ..

Now a days technology is so advance, that if the elevation is not possible, than why IR is not trying to under ground system? Presently in Mumbai & Calcutta Metro trains tunnel has been made below the river. so that they can achieve 100 % electrification & no restriction to crossing of ships & trains.

Pamban Bridge is need as it is Old Bridge for more than 100 Years Now it's time to Build New Bridge for safety reason...
As far as Electricity concern... Govmnt also Working on Green Energy instead of Coal Generated Electricity Hence Solar power capacity increase day- by-day
There are so many section where less than 4 Pair of train but...
